Secret Santa & A Penguin
Well, yesterday I didn't do post but I made it a hell of a long way into Blogmas before hiccupping. I'm proud. I have excuses, suffice to say there was a delicious meal, friends and delicious gins.
Today was my team Secret Santa and it was really good. Everyone made a great effort and I think everyone was really happy with their gifts. I was buying for the guy who sat next to me who is 20, which sounds like I'm being oddly specific, but I'm 27 and that feels like a huge difference. I got help from someone else though so I reckon I did pretty good. I have to say I was very happy with my Christmas-y haul.
I mean, look at that lot. Someone had me figured pretty well to have got that. And all for a tenner! I am very grateful for my gifts.
The second thing today is that I'd like to introduce you to a lovely little penguin that I painted a few weeks ago at Spaven's.
We spend a few hours eating pancakes, ice cream and sweets, and in the middle of that we decorate some pottery. I choose my penguin so Chris would have somewhere to put all the change that falls out of his jeans. Cute and practical.
