My October Outfits: Halloween Everyday
I love Halloween. If you follow me on Twitter I've been reflecting on how October brings a little more joy to goth-y little hearts everywhere. I also like to add a touch of it to my everyday wardrobe. I do mean everyday, I will wear a jumper with fangs on as long as it's cold enough. It's festive for the darkside identifying.
Look 1: 90s Goth
The first outfit I'm in love with is my all black, 90s rocker chick look. A simple jersey fit and flare dress with buttons, some chunky boots and a textured jacket. I also swap the jacket out for my leather jacket, because what kind of goth doesn't have one they wear constantly?
I like to team this outfit with dark red, or brown lips and a little silver choker. They add the perfect 90s touches you need to bring it all together.
Look 2: Everyday Vampire
My second outfit is even simpler, but that works for me. I like statement pieces that don't need a lot of help from extra accessories. My statement piece of the month - nay, the year - is this Hell Bunny knit. I got it through the door this week and I am in love.
I'll probably dress it up with a pencil skirt, but my favourite everyday look is dressed down, so throwing on some comfy jeans and my Dr Martens is ideal. The knife is a sometimes accessory - you have to be discrete with blades so popping it in a black and red handbag would do the trick.
Do you have a favourite October outfit? What style inspiration are you taking from the spooky clothing out there?
