Carrot Cake Smoothie
I've become a bit of a breakfast smoothie addict - they're quick, filling and taste fantastic. Plus, they're full of fruit and veg and good things that'll keep me going all morning. I adapted a recipe I found the other day and had the most delicious carrot cake flavoured liquid of my entire life.
Clean Eating Carrot Cake Smoothie
300ml almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 ripe banana
4 tbsp / 30g oats
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
You could even add some orange zest or a few walnuts to add that proper cake-y touch.
